On the eleventh of March 2013 I actually went to see War Horses at the Fresh London Theatre. War Horse is a story adapted simply by Nick Stafford and authored by Michael Morpurgo. The performance I saw was directed simply by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris, it also involved the incredible Handspring Puppet Organization who created all the animals. War Horses is set in Devon in 1914 and is also about how a farmer, Wyatt Narracott who will be played by Jamie Kenna buys a thoroughbred equine rather than a plough animal, but when his adolescent son Albert played by Siôn Daniel Young train locomotives the equine and calls him Joey, the two turning out to be inseparable. When his collect fails, Ted has to offer Joey to the British cavalry and he is shipped to France exactly where, after a terrible offensive he's captured by Germans and changes hands twice more before he is found, caught in the barbed wire along with 4 years he is freed. He is delivered behind United kingdom lines where Albert, today a private, have been temporarily blinded by gas, but still recognizes his dearest Joey and the pair will be finally reunited. As I was watching the play the primary themes I noticed were appreciate, tension, bravery and the human – dog bond. A minimalistic set was effective mainly because they travelled a lot plus the play is placed in a lot of locations, it's good...
